This is the amazing, Good Sam. He was found several months ago legs up in a bush. We thought there was something wrong with him medically, in addition to the obvious neglect, but as it turned out it was just his soul was crushed. We aren't sure what the circumstances were or how this guy ended up where he was, but with good nutrition and lots of love he has become the most amazing pup (or rather he was already amazing but now he lets us see it).

Sam is huge, both in body and spirit and we really haven't seen him not get along with anyone. He will fence fight if someone challenges him but is never the initiator. He loves attention. He loves to play. He loves to eat. He loves to sleep. He is love personified or doggie-fied. 

Due to his size and inherent clumsiness, he will not be placed in a home with young children. He is a strong, somewhat stubborn (just in he likes to get what he wants way) puppers so needs someone with breed experience. Another medium to large dog would be great to keep him company and keep him moving.
